Well-Connected Ex Wife Uses Nonsense DVRO to Silence Journalist

Music Composer Clair Marlo now seeks to renew and make permanent her 2017 Domestic Violence Restraining Order ("DVRO")against her ex husband and business partner, composer and investigative journalist Alex Baker. The restraining order would disallow Baker from publishing documents related to his pending lawsuit against Marlo, which is by definition a matter in the public interest.


In response, by and through Civil Rights Attorney / Congressional Candidate Ronda Baldwin-Kennedy, Esq., Baker has filed an Anti-SLAPP Motion. Marlo now makes 159 Allegations against Baker, each of them arising directly from Baker's right of petition or free speech.
